WorldBrowser is powered by a platform called ContextGrid. Anybody can place digital dynamic content at any place or thing on earth via this new platform called ContextGrid. This enables context to be delivered to anybody anywhere, just like the URL did for the digital world.
There are 7 billion people and over 100 Billion places on Earth. There are trillions of addressable places—meaning any human artefact; a piece of art in a ]gallery, a railway station or airport timetable, a restaurant menu, appliances, billboards, IoT devices, etc.—that people interact with on a daily basis. ContextGrid is enabling an infrastructure to bring those places and things to life. WorldBrowser connects to the ContextGrid registration and lookup Infrastructure to get the context and delivers it to you as things on a map that you can interact with.
WorldBrowser tracks your location in the background and notifies you when you are close to a place or thing.
